We got ours today. It's freaking awesome. No external hardware or special software, everything comes packed inside the little gadget that you just plug into a USB port. Skuttlebutt is that this will be a Vonage killer and we have no doubt of this.

We're definitely impressed. Can use regular phone or the mic/headset you normally use with your computer. Both worked just fine, people we've talked to can't tell that we're not using a regular land-line and neither can we! The way we found out about it was we were watching the news and they mentioned it, we immediately went to the computer and ordered one. Sounded "too good to be true" but we figured, what the heck, let's give it a try anyway. We're not sorry we did.
