Default ERROR: Failed to open... (Uploading larger videos <20 meg

I only get this message when I upload videos that are larger in size. What's the problem? How do I fix this?
    ERROR: Failed to open /home/youthtoo/public_html/media/templates_c/c27eee834a7565c62a5434a24f7f1956.params
Please note that I have upgraded to vshare version 2.4 and this problem still exists. I understand that this may have something to do with the settings related to my php settings, so you can view this at http://youthtoob.com/phpinfo.php
I greatly appreciate your prompt assistance in this matter.

    Sincerely,
    Harrison

Default How can I upload large video files?

I'm trying to upload videos that are above 20Megs and I receive a FATAL ERROR after video completes the upload process.
    According to my phpinfo file:
    Code:
    max_execution_time 6000
    max_input_time	6000
    post_max_size	800M
    upload_max_filesize 800M
    http://youthtoob.com/phpinfo.php
I have tried this with Quicktime videos as well as MPEG.

Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this?http://www.youthtoob.com

    Hi Leki,

I just tried another upload of a 24.7 MB Quicktime video file and the new error I had displayed in my browser was:
    ERROR: Failed to open /home/youthtoo/public_html/media/templates_c/c7b4fb2ea746ae0b828503eb7ae5c84c.params

What exactly is this "background conversion option" and how can I use it?
Under Miscellaneous Settings in "Admin" I changed Video Processing to "Background Processing". Is that what you mean? Well, I'm uploading a larger video again, and this should tell me if that was what I needed to do or not.

    I'll report my findings here.

    Sincerely,
    Harrison

have you set the permisions on templates_c to 777?

yes, it converts the files in the background so the user doesn't have to wait and also fixes problems with large files converting. you will need to set up a cron as well...see the FAQ

Yes, the permissions were set properly. But this video processing setting did the trick! WOO-HOO! I can finally upload larger videos! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!

Now I can rest easy knowing that the site functions properly! :D

Leki, You are a godsend! Are you amongst us vshare users, or part of the vshare development project? At any rate, if you have a vshare URL, please share it with us!

Also, when you get a chance, this latest video I FINALLY uploaded is quite amazing!
