    Default Unallowed characters in description

    hi,
on the new version , i still have the same prob fo the "Unallowed characters in description.".
it s amazing the time we can waste for find the caractere that is not allowed, and i can imagine that the poor basic user must wonder what goes wrong, especially when he doesn t speak english.
is it possible to have a list of the caractere not allowed pls?
btw this is the texte that is refused:

or it would be handy that the script tells what caracter is wrong instead of play to sherlock holmes with caracteres.
i try to upload this video since 20 minutes, still didn t find what is wrong....

Yes, a list of allowed or disallowed would be nice.

In your case, I can't see anything that should upset the script...
    Weird...

Are you using release 20070530 ?

This version will allow most characters.

I have the latest release with the update. On initial upload of the file, it lets you use the characters, but the description appears like this:

I just got the camera and here\'s us during a night out.

    (Notice the slash.)

When you go to "EDIT" the video later on, it doesn't allow the characters by returning the following "error" message:

    Unallowed characters in description.

Can not edit from the user interface.

    error: "Unallowed characters in description."
BUT, entries can be edited from the Admin interface.

Also, backslash's (\) are added on single and double quotes.
    ie: don\'t

Oh, really! I'll have to try it!

UPDATE: It worked. Editing the description works from the ADMIN panel, and not the user interface. hmm....
