Default Captcha Image Not Showing - GD and Freetype support enabled

I installed vShare 2.4 but captcha image is now showing up in the sign up page. I checked phpinfo and GD and freetype support is enable.

What seems to be the problem?

Only problem i can see is corrupted file upload. Try uploading the file again in BINARY mode. What is your site url ?

    Never mind. Found the problem.

I just purchased the software a day before 2.4 was released and I made the mistake of installing 2.4 directly instead of 2.3 then upgrading to 2.4.

I did a compare of both files for 2.3 and 2.4 and found that I was missing 4 files that was supposed to be in the root directory. One of the files was captcha.php. Uploaded those 4 files and it fixed the problem.

Still, thank you for your assistance. I really appreciate it. I will check on the corrupted upload file.

    My website is http://www.tuhog.com.

    Default One more thing

I forgot. Only problem I have now is that when I click on the Watch button, which is supposed to link to http://tuhog.com/recent/, it come up with a page not found.

I'm assuming that links to a recent/index.php file. I checked both versions 2.3 and 2.4 and there are no directory of that name for both versions that I have. I checked your demo site http://video.bizhat.com/recent/index.php and indeed, I found a recent/index.php file.

Is this because I don't have any videos uploaded yet or am I really missing this directory?

Where can I find files for this directory? Is this generated from the installation? I don't want to do a reinstall since it was our hosting that did the installation. Also, I've already done some customizations on the site.

I reuploaded upload.php in BINARY mode using WSFTP but I got an error directing me to zend's website.

So I reuploaded it in Auto mode (based on file extension) and now I'm getting this error

"Fatal error: Unable to read 7939 bytes in /home/tuhog/public_html/upload.php on line 0".

I tried reuploading back the original file but still getting the same error.

    My website is http://www.tuhog.com.

Try using a different FTP program and upload in BINARY mode.

The only reason for this error is corrupted Upload.

Tried uploading it using Dreamweaver and even our hosting's cpanel file manager but still the same. I even tried deleting the file on the remote server and reuploading back. Still the same error.

If I upload it with WSFTP using BINARY mode, it gives me the error:

Fatal error: This encoded file is corrupted. Please refer to http://www.zend.com/support/support_faq ... le_corrupt for further help in /home/tuhog/public_html/upload.php on line 0

If I upload it with WSFTP using Auto transfer mode, it gives the error:

Fatal error: Unable to read 7939 bytes in /home/tuhog/public_html/upload.php on line 0

    Default Disregard last message

Disregard last message. I got it fixed. I uploaded the original upload.php from the zipped file and it worked.

I guess the upload.php in my local www directory was already corrupted when I downloaded the file from the server and I just kept uploading back an already corrupted file.
