Allow uploads to selected channels

I know, thats why I said have 2 upload forms, one with the channel by itself, the other with the other channels with this channel taken off.

Yes, thanks! Sorry for being such a pain, I think understand the concept, not having the channel appear on the upload page (upload.php). What I am concerned with is the 'channels' (channels.php) page.

I don't what the channel "contest entries" to appear on the channels page (channels.php). I have to create a channel for the contest entries for people to be able to upload to that channel, and when I do, it will appear on the channels.php page and I don't want that.

If I only create a different upload.tpl page, that doesn't affect the channels.php page nor the database where the channel gets listed....I don't think. See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1521 cos this is what I'm trying to attempt.
