I have this problem:Convert Error ~ Host or bad install?

The convert command

/usr/bin/mencoder '/home/malaysia/public_html/weddingyoutube.com/video/Christopher_1.wmv' -o /home/malaysia/public_html/weddingyoutube.com/flvideo/11973932861343806527.flv -of lavf -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=56 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv:vbitrate=500:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:l ast_pred=3 -srate 22050 -ofps 24 -vf harddup

Is not working on your server. You can ask if your web host to check if this command works on the server, if not, there will be problem with mencoder installation on the server.

This is the xilahost.com 's response.... the Q is where do I change the script?

Video hosting is what we do, of course we have mencoder installed and working. Latest version also.

First, check your paths:

/usr/bin/mencoder NOT /usr/local/bin/mencoder

Secondly,

Ask the vShare team if their software is compatible with the latest version of mencoder.
