    Default Adding Additional Server Source

at the bottom of the options in the admin panel is a place to list an additional server source (V2.6). I have added this and then added a video, it seemed to process correctly and the video shows up but when you click to play - nothing happens. The video is transferred to the external source as well. So I am not sure why it is not working. Had anyone had this happen to them?

I tried this and I still get the same result. When the video processess it says that it has been successful. The video shows up onthe site, and there are thumbnails that have been created but when you try to play it it just goes to a blank screen and you can see that it is trying to find something but nothing happens. I also see that file has tranferred to the other host and the file size is the right size. The link is correct I can download it but when I download it, it also won't play. Any other ideas? This is really perplexing me.

I have encountered same problem. I paid for the external server and I cannot use it. My money has wasted unless a solution is given for this problem.

    Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check to see if hotlinking is enabled or disabled on the other server.
If disabled, either fix it, or find a new host.

Now, My turn for a question...
If I have 3 external servers defined, will the script rotate content among them, or do I have to do anything special to even out the content?

    I have found the solution.

In addition to all the above (as per installation guide) you need to add .htaccess. It should be the same .htaccess which is originally present in your flvideo folder of your actual vshare website. So copy and transfer to the external server folder for videos.

It works to play the video from the external server.

    Thanks
