first it takes too too long to upload videos. and after waiting for an hour and that the system tells that upload was successful the videos show neither on site nor in database. I woul really like somebody to tell what to do an d if there is somebody for who vshare runs normally. I really feel like i m lossing my time

    Video Processing = > Process Queue = > Edit = > convert again

After that in new browser access yoursite.com/cron.php

    Or

    Edit the video_conversion.php (include/settings)

You can see two video conversion command try one by one

When u upload videos be sure the is no spaces nor special caracters in the name of your video files.
For example : "my video 1.avi" will not work whereas "myvideo1.avi" will work.

I can't upload videos with or without spaces. They still don't show up in database.

This issue has to be fixed in the next release, it is a major inconvience having to manaully rename the videos to get them to work!!!

Does anyone else agree with me!!

I don't think it's JUST that, because I've uploaded many many files with spaces in the names. I think it's when the filename is beyond a certain length, that you get this issue.

i agree also. same problem. certain characters ie a space replaced with '-' apostraphy replaced with '\'. cetain lengths of file names.

Why cant the upload page alert members to remove spaces or special characters?
Why cant he process script search in the \video folder for the files as apposed to using the filename recorded on upload?

Why cant the script work correctly?

This topic appears to have developed into a petition. All who are having this problem please post here in order to stress this issue to the scipt desigers so we can at least get some confirmation that they are workng on this issue or are even aware of it.

below are two more posts with the same issue.
