Unable to edit user profile

BUG: Users can't edit their profile.

This bug fix is for vshare downloaded before 5 May 2007. All new downloads have this bug fixed.

To fix the bug download

Unzip and upload to your server in BINARY mode.

include/language/en/my_profile.php

only bit i see a problem with is:

Current Password:
New Password:
Confirm Password:

They are marked as required fields to fill in when they are not for updating the profile.

if one of the password fields is left blank it still says Profile Updated Successfully.



I'm going to remove the *'s and add a little box around the password fields saying "only fill this in if you want to change your password"

This should be less confusing for users updating there profile.

Age of Birth is not right.

and can you please enable the script/css/html/embed for user profile. thats why they have ability customize their own webspace, and put a video

I have the latest version of the script which I got in late May along with the recent update and I am not able to update my profile. The only thing showing up is this:

My Videos have been viewed 251 times
My Profile has been viewed 92 times
I've watched 79 videos
I have 3 friends

Last Login: 13 minutes ago
Signed up: 5 days ago
Country: United States

I entered a bunch of other information and it's not showing up. Previous posts indicate that this bug was fixed and the fix included in later releases (which should have been in the version I got in late May?), but I'm still experiencing it. It was not corrected until I downloaded the .zip file from this topic.

The age is incorrect. It's listing a December 1957 birthdate as being age 50. I won't be 50 till this coming December. I understand that this fix will be coming out around June 24th and am looking forward to it.

All in all I am very happy with this script and mostly with the support. GREAT JOB!!
