.htaccess file

Hi, i have a problem with the upload feature it will upload file under 5M but not above, i believe it has to do with the .htaccess file not being correct but might be wrong. all it does after uploading is goes to a blank page and says page cannot be found any ideas.

You need to change php.ini settings

Im on a shared server with cirtex hosting so i dont have access t the php.ini file any other sugestions would be very helpfull.

Tried them admin, but i did notice it will upload .wmv files fine but not any others, seems strange.

Example i upload a .avi file that was 11.2M it just went to a blank page saying page could not be found and when i check the file online is is only 8.7M and does not play the whole video and the length of the video show up 0.00

any ideas

Im on a shared server, had a level 3 tech looking at it all day and still cannot fix the problem.

Gentlemen, I think we have a suspect.
I know it's a pain in the arse, but I bet this wouldn't happen if you change host. I did, it's not happened since.

Everyone i know who uses shared hosting with citrex complains leaes and then finds it was well worth leaving. If there packages are set up for these types of scripts and they have 4-5 people on each server its bound to be a big problem.
