Default Automatical converting with remote files?

    Hello!

I have a question. My uncle has a home server. But this server has a damn slow connection. Our family members upload their videos there. But you must download it first with 60kb/s....

I thougt that it would be a good idea to use vshare with this problem. I install a second instance of vshare (with a second license) on my v-server.

The server download the video files of the server and convert them. Then everyone can watch it. And if someone want to download it he can download the orginal files from the server.

Is it possible that vshare download all videos in a ftp directory and convert them?

That isn't a built in function of vShare. The best that you could do would be to FTP the videos into your templates_c/import directory. From there, you can import them one by one without having to download them over and over again.
