Would be nice to have the ability to let our own users market our sites for us :) by being able to click on "email this video", which takes them to a little form that they can enter email addresses of people, then the link to the video is sent along with whatever message the user inputs.

Better yet, maybe do the same with a drop down that says: Include Link in Email, and one that says: Embed Video in Email. This way the videos will play in the email client if it supports HTML emails. Just a thought...

This is a pritty easy mod to do, I've done it on my own site. If demand is high enough I will be more than happy to install onto servers for a small donation.

I don't think that Iframes open up in email, even html. I've tried embedding the code in an email and sending it. Always looks right on the sending end, but no matter what settings I use in the email client, I never am able to view the video on the receiving end. Are you able to do this?

Hi there admin -- just a thought regarding the email of a vid to a friend.
The idea is that we make it as easy as possible or a viewer to use this feature ( its the whole viral marketing thing) by not asking a viewer who has no user status to login - ie they can just utilise the feature.
This makes it possible to spread the site profile quickly.
:twisted: On the converse side it opens up the site to users who can use the whole thing to spam others without any login.
Which is really bad in my opinion.

We will see what can be done to make recommend video with out loging in. Abuse is one problem, but we may have option for site admin to choose how it works, so site admin can disable it if there is spam.
