    http://www.videohome.org

if you try this one, you will see a very well developed version of fetching video from other sites like youtube.

Can we expect something like this?

    http://www.videohome.org/videos/task,addlinkfront/

just add the whole url link of a youtube video (for example)

and the server do the rest.

You are not using latest release of vshare, check my post, it clearly says it will work only if you are using release 20070625.

AWESOME JOB admin... thank you SO MUCH! Downloaded, uploaded in binary, took fifteen seconds and there was the tool. Huge feature upgrade!

Perhaps there's a way to let users insert whatever link text is provided by their video servers, ie, the Iframe embed code?

Also, perhaps in a future release, you can improve this feature by letting the admin add a local flv file using a relative path, ie, /films/reefer_madness instead of http://www.site.com/films/reefer_madness - and in so doing, the program will recognize it as a local url and NOT do the wget, but use the local path to the file for the database append, treat it like it was just wgot, and do everything from that point on as you have it.

But I don't want that to detract from the fact that this is a pretty decent tool you've provided. 8)
