Its a problem with config.php not being lead to the right locations, the video uploads the ffmpeg makes a thumb just the video doesnt convert to flv.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have been with the host for a long time with many domains there so would not be feasible to change host. Just want to get the problem fixed. :)

Thanks for recomending your host, but moving is not what I am looking for, but finding the solution to the problem is what I am looking for.

What about the support here. Where is the official support by the company?

    Default Finally

Finally got this working. The problem was because I did not have the latest ffmpeg version. I had 4.2 on my server and the latest was 5.x. Had them upgrade to the latest and bingo all it good.
    Geez after 4 days, FINALLY.

Thanks again zeffer for your attempt at helping. Much appreciated.

Hey 777 .... I had trouble with mplayer (which is the package that includes mencoder, the default encoder) after I installed it, uninstalled it and reinstalled it. No matter what I do now, I can't get the thing to work.

SO I just made a change to a config file, and am just using ffmpeg now. See this thread for info:

    http://forums.buyscripts.in/viewtopic.p ... ght=ffmpeg

Also this one where I posted a few switches you can change around in the encode command:
    http://forums.buyscripts.in/viewtopic.p ... ght=ffmpeg

And I have used it to upload divx, wmv, vob, mpeg1, mpeg2, and mov files. Haven't tried real media yet though. Far as I'm concerned, if they're using Matroska or some other elitist bullshit obscure video codec, screw 'em.
