Yer it shouldn't be to hard to make a script to do this. What I would do is create a PHP script that uses the password of the user to delete their account.

Edit** I forgot all about this, and I'm currently busy doing other projects, please give me sometime and I will get around to it.

    Regards,
    Mat.

Most definitely a good feature to have. Anyone who knows anything about email marketing will tell you that if users can't unsubscribe, they start laying spam complaints (some of them have really short fuses to go along with their short memories that forget that they actually subscribed to your site). Fact is, the subscriber needs a way to unsubscribe and be permanently removed from your mailing list and site if they so choose. Believe me, if you're making your money from getting people to open your emails and come back to your site, you want to make sure you're not blacklisted and on a number of spam databases - It'll kill your business before you can even get it rolling properly.

This feature will enable us to place a short message at the bottom of every email sent to members telling them that if they want to unsubscribe and be removed from the system completely, all they need to do is log in at {link} and go to "Edit Profile" and hit the "easy button" at the bottom of the page and they'll be free and clear :P
