Default Group bugs after 4th August update

    New bugs:

deleting or approving group topics does not work in Opera, works in IE (before the 4th august update it worked in opera but not IE!)

deleting group topics in IE doesn't always seem to work either

if you add a topic and then delete it you will be taken back to the main index page. Think this is because it changes the group URL to http://website.com/groups_home.php?urlkey=groupname instead of http://website.com/group/groupname/ after adding a topic. Same problem after clicking the topic page numbers.

when logged in and visiting a group your not a member of it says "Please join this group to post a topic." ...the join link in that text does not work.

when you apply to join a protected group you can still add videos to the group using the "add videos" link at the top and you can also reply to topics. None of this should be allowed until the member is approved.

In groups where the owner has to approve videos or can only post videos himself, he still has to approve his own videos after he adds them.

In a private group which is supposed to be joined by founder invite only, anyone who is already in the group can invite other people. Only the founder should be able to do this.

In a private group if the founder removes someone they can join back up again from the old invite link. Be good if the invite links expire after the user has used them to join the private group.

When not logged in and viewing a group in the topic section it says "Login to post new topic" and links you to the login page, after you log in it says "No such User".
Can be fixed in group_home.tpl by replacing Please Login to post new topic</div> with Please Login to post new topic</div>

also in group_post.tpl same problem as above.

    old bugs:

HTML code is allowed in new topics and replys and can be abused to mess up the page.

when creating a group if you use a name for the "unique group name URL" that is already taken it will give you the error "Please provide unique part of url." This error should be changed to "Group name already exisits, choose another" or something....the orginal error still needs to appear if they forget to enter a unique group name URL though.

in the Admin area in "All Groups" ( http://www.YOURSITE.com/admin/groups.php ) clicking on any of the numbers listed under "Member or Topics" gives an error "Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in......"

Private videos should not be allowed to be posted in groups as no one can view them (unless they are a friend but most of the people in the group would not be)

In "add_video.php" you need to change it so that /templates/head_bottom/grouplinks.tpl is used instead of /templates/head_bottom/homelinks.tpl to keep inline with the rest of the group pages and so that "My Favorites" isn't listed twice.

In the group topics the last post time starts back at 0 hours once it has passed 24 hours and doesn't go into days, so a post done 5 days ago would still say posted 3 hours ago or something.

think thats enough bugs for today ;)

I have completely hidden my group area for now. Did the old <! -- --> trick on any link reference found.

My group area started to not display group videos, and members, plus the bugs you listed here.

That's a pretty big list. Hopefully some of these are addressed in the new update that is coming. I'll be happy if I can just sort my groups to list them alphabetically so that they aren't so jumbled.
