ERROR: Failed to find flength file

What is this: ERROR: Failed to find flength file??? and how do I fix it - I cannot upload clips yet :?:

It then forwards to this message: ERROR: Failed to mkdir /home/web/vshare/templates_c/: No such file or directory

The reason for this error is wrong path in cgi-bin/uu_default_config.pm

temp_dir => '/home/xxxx/public_html/templates_c/',
upload_dir => '/home/xxxx/public_html/video/',

I'm getting the same error
and i have this:

1) Disable upload progress bar and upload a test video and see if video upload works.

(2) check uploded video is available on your video folder.

Next, verify video is getting converted to FLV or not.

After you run the convert command, see if the file with .flv extension is created or not.

If file with .flv extension is not created in flvideo folder, problem is with mencoder.

I disabled the upload progress bar and the video I just uploaded is on the video folder.

seems to be working but now I won't be able to use the progress bar or what?

Some of my videos are showing length zero but i'm cool with that.

The length zero issue happens whenever someone uploads a video with a bad meta map (common with .flv files and .wmv files). If the file actually uploads without problems but shows a 0:00 after converting, you can fix this by:

1. Rerunning the flvtool on the file:

flvtool2 -U convertedfile.flv

This will rebuild and overwrite the bad map.

2. Change the length in the admin panel to match the file's length.
