Hi there. You should have started out with the style.css in order to save yourself a bunch of grief later on. The style.css allows you to customize a ton of individual functions ... once done with that, you can always revert to the actual .tpl files for additional changes. If you start out by changing everything in only the tpl files, then you might have a bunch more editing to do as opposed to just starting out with the css.

Just some thoughts ... which may prove to be relevant after the next upgrade when a lot of those templates might be changed while leaving the css alone, for your own adjustments to remain intact ... ???
