I am have a problem with usernames that have characters in username. If a username has a character in it and I click on the username to check the profile, the page comes up with "The webpage cannot be found". Anyone had this problem.

By characters I'm assuming you mean special characters. If so, yes, this is a problem in the current version of vShare as it does not screen out characters that would cause mod_rewrite to not work correctly. For example, if a person has a period, ampersand, or an at symbol in their username, mod_rewrite would fail on their usernames. The result would be a user not found error.
