    Look like php installation issue. Are you using PHP 5.2.3 or latest ?

    5.1.6 which I have just checked is below the requirement's.
    What fix or course of action would you recommend ?

    Just upgrade php. Refer

    My host company has upgraded to the latest version for me and install has all gone well.
