Changing video names in flvideo folder automatically

We all know of the hacks to get around people leeching files. However, even using the admin tool to Rename FLV Video works but needs more features. How about making it so that there is a global change made to all the videos if I want with the click of a button. Or make it a scriptable task that can be added to cron - say once a month or so.
Sure it has to access the database and the directory for a few minutes. But it could do several hundred in a minute I would think.
Also make it work on a remote server.

Doing it for all video on large site is not easy task. If you use remote server, use lighttpd web server with mod_secdownload, so video links will expire after time set by you.
