videos don't upload and theres no errors showing

I got a new server machine for the script to use inside a primary school.
I installed ubuntu server 9.10
The script installed without issues.

When I try to test upload a video, it never goes to the server.
I have it set to debug, but there are no errors in the debug file.
No videos in the queu, no videos in the vshare folders. Tried .avi and .wmv files.

I checked the paths to all the binaries ffmpeg, mencoder, menplayer etc.
everthing seems to be in order.

I had installed this script once before on test machine in a lab setting and got it working completely.

Now I am setting it up on our production server and I can't get the videos to upload.

What is the solution?
