Yes, vShare player(player.swf ) is in Player folder
if i don't upload videos to the site, and only add videos using the youtube embed for now, do i still need to host the site on the server that supports ffmpeg and others...?

You can embed videos on almost any server.
Nothing special needed like ffmpeg as its just a Iframe
All Players exc are hosted at youtube's end

It only looks for ffmpeg exc when you upload a video file so it can be converted to FLV format.
It does not call for ffmpeg when you are embedding
it just stores the code in the database and when it is watched it calls for
the softwares youtube has
