What server do I have to share to run vShare?

What server do I have to share on my localhost to install ffmpeg,ffmpeg-php,mencoder and mplayer on it?

You need Linux server, better use popular distro like CentOS, RHEL, Fedora Core. You will be able to install on other distro's, better go with popular distro as it is easy to get support. Always go with latest version of linux.

Can this script-->vShare be installed on Windows.If not can I install Linux and Windows on the same computer?

You can run windows and linux on same computer.
