Your idea is good but I don't think users will type username and passwords of their own email or social network in your site! What's about security? This script for what they may imagine could even steal their accounts... :rolleyes:
My suggestion is try to get the same result but in a different way.

Everything depends on your credibility and your image in the visitor to your site. Members are using it on facebook and linkedin and many sites. If your users have confidence in you they will use it .
