Did your host recently switch from Apache to Litespeed? Normally, this happens with the connection timeouts in Litespeed are set too low. While your site may be uploading correctly, if the timeouts are too low, then the site could time out before your upload actually finishes.

Thanks for pointing that out. You save me a lot of time. My hosting was making it seem like the problem was from my end and gave me the "run around" for days just to buy time. When it turns out that the actual cause of this was they had an issue with they Lightspeed server. insane! Either that or their forcing me to upgrade my current hosting plan this way since Litespeed can be costly.
