Amd opteron 3280 octo-core

Hi,


Good day, i am planning to upgrade my server, From I5 Quad Core 8GIGs Ram, to AMD OPTERON 3280 OCTO-CORE with 16GB of Ram,

My Question is, Is there any problem in FFmpeg in AMD OPTERON 3280 OCTO-CORE? because video conversion is very good in I5,

I just want to make sure that my site will run better using the server i plan to subscribe.

Never used OPTERON. You may need to ask in ffmpeg mailing list or test it yourself.
