Everything is perfect - except video won't load

Can anyone help?
Everything on the site seems to work, except when you try to load a video, the little wheel graphic goes round and round, and the video never loads.
I've looked at debug.txt, all looks well; I'm using version 2.2, etc. etc.
Any help would be appreciated!

Also noticed this in my server error log:

File does not exist: /public_html/motion/.htaccess: Invalid command 'php_value', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

File does not exist: /public_html/motion/flvideo/2.flv

I had the php thing tacked on at the end, but it was causing a 404, so I took it out:

Okay, I fixed the problem by modifying the video_conversion.php file, but it looks like it compressed the video by 50%.

Is there I setting I can adjust so that it doesn't do that?

In that video_conversion.php file, change

$cmd_all = $cmd_mencoder;

to

$cmd_all = $cmd_ffmpeg;

I don't see the video_conversion.php file. What folder is this in? I only have probs when I upload a windows movie file.....flv and mov upload fine. Admin, is this a script issue or is something wrong with my ffmpeg or mencoder? I upload the movie, get the thumbnail, but then when I go to play it the circle thing just spins. Let me know....
