I think that your problem may be related to the problem affecting us all.
that is Youtube have changed their programming so that we cant download directly server to server from the admin mode anymore.

If you go to the announcements vshare sticky 2.4 you'll see that we all seem to have the issue.
Mozilla has an add on that allows you to capture vids.
I use 'replay media catcher' a program that's automatic - which some kind soul nulled for me.
You can upload ftp to templates_c/import and then process files through the control panel in your admin - it's not as fast but it works.
