speeding up forming homepage

Hi,

Making "recent tags" on the index.tpl is really time consuming and expensive operation when you have many videos and many keywords and usually it gives timeout when number of videos grows. Do you go through all videos to make these recents tags? can you limit that to the last N videos to speed up this operation? It should be a very simple change but will imporve the speed of the first page by order of magnitude.
