Whenever I try to use a single quote ( ' ) in the Channel Description it returns without saving.
Example: Want videos? Don't go away
so, workaround is: Want Videos ? Do not go away

Even with v2.1.
And surely we must be able to write words like "Don't" etc ??
OK, we understand this is required. For now, we disabled the use of ' for a reason. We will be fixing this shortly.
I undestand that single quotes must be taken care of for security reasons, but there are better ways to protect the input.Originally Posted by admin

We all need to use ' ()/- signs in our description fields.
