The strange thing is, that it is possible to use the "import folder" feature successfully.

If you still have problem, clear debug log (that is delete templates_c/debug.txt).
Then uploded a new video.
After doing this, post content of debug.txt
I only have this problem with bigger wmv-files (>2,5 MB). It seems that it is too difficult to find out, what's causing it in my server. I'll disallow the uploading of wmv-files to my users and tell them to convert the files.
