    Exclamation New Installation Error.

    Hi All.
    Hope someone can help me with my 1st post.
    I have linux VPS Hosting and my host has installed all the required Items FFMPEG, MENCODER Etc and has confirmed that my hosting meets all the requirements.

    Heres my path to's from my host.

    [root@vps9636 ~]# which ffmpeg
    /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg
    [root@vps9636 ~]# which mencoder
    /usr/local/bin/mencoder
    [root@vps9636 ~]# which flvtool2
    /usr/local/bin/flvtool2
    [root@vps9636 ~]# which mplayer
    /usr/local/bin/mplayer
    [root@vps9636 ~]#

    but when trying to install I get the following error.
    Any ideas anyone ?

    Default

    Make sure that your PHP installation has safe_mode turned off for your site.

    Also, make sure that openbase_dir does not have any value listed for it in your PHP configuration.

    Look like open_basedir, check php info at http://youdomain/phpinfo.php

    Thank you for your reply's, here's where I'm at.
    Yes safe_mode is turned off
    openbase_dir has "no value"

    With reference to this other post I have just found.

    I have uploaded vhost.conf.
    I should now run command

    /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -a -v

    Now as I,m new to VPS hosting I am unsure of how to run a command. I am useing AceFTP 3 Pro and have been told I have root access via SSH. could you explain In layman's term's how to do this please.

    The information sent to me was -

    IP: 115.124.xxx.xxx
    Username: root
    Password:"mypassword"

    I.m using Plesk 9.2.2

    Can you post url of phpinfo ? Make sure the values are proper in phpinfo.
