Need help with ffmpeg, mplayer, etc...

So I was hoping I'd be able to set up the script on my own, but I'm afraid I'm just too inexperienced to make it happen.
The problem I'm facing now is that I have no idea how to add mplayer and flvtool and all that to my dreamhost server, and every "how to" I read goes way over my head.
Are there some easy instructions on how to add all that stuff, or do I need to find some professional help?
If I do need outside help, is there anyone out there that might be able to load that stuff for me?

No easy way. If you take the how to instructios step by step, instead of looking at the whole thing, it will make more sense to you. But it sounds like you need to hire someone to do this for you, and I think if you do a search of the posts you'll find a couple.
