It seems you are using old version of vshare.
What is the url of file you are trying to import ? It should be url to actial video file (ending with .flv, .wmv, etc....) not url to web page that shows the video.

Hi Admin thanks for your reply i am using the latest version of vshare it has been upgraded.I was trying to upload a video from utube and copied the url i will see if i can find one with flv ect and try it thanks.

Video Import feature is not a youtube video importer now. It can import video from any site if you can find out the exact url of the video.
When we started, we are under the impression, we can find url of all video in youtube with flv extension. But we found youtube have some videos with FLV extension, some with special link, then some with google video link.
We are trying to release a new version today or tomarrow, this is mainly few bug fixes. We will try to add youtube import feature on release after this.
