I would like to be able to chose how I set my upload limit.
I would also like to be able to control it too.
So say for example if I wanted to allow, like Youtube, an upload limit of 100MB or 15 mins which ever the greater, I could.
Thanks

You can set upload file size and script execution time limit in php.ini

Unfortunately, that isn't what I meant.
With YouTube,
their script means that you can either upload a 100MB file or a 10 Minute clip which ever is the greater in size.
I can get up to an hours film into 100MB which isn't very good if I only want people to upload clips no longer than 10 minutes in runtime length.
Calculation of runtime can only done after upload finished. After upload is finished, what is the point in saying run time is more than 10 minutes ?
You can delete the video if run time is more than 10 minutes, i don't think most of the webmaster will do this.
The reason this is a good idea is beacuse I don't want people uploading entire fims.
I can get well over 10 minutes worth of play out of a 100MB file, but I dont want full films uploading.
10 - 15 Minutes MAX is quite enough.
I want to use that 100MB allowance for quality of clip uploads, not full length clips.
10 Minutes is adeqate for play length.
Thought this was supposed to be a YouTube clone?
Not very cloned if it doesnt utilize the same feature for the same reasons.
YouTube has this in place for these very reasons. Why else would I want it.
I want to limit the running time of videos uploaded.
But, It's Ok. Not to worry. If you can't do it, it's fine.
