logo jpg format? watermark gif?

why the logo USt be jg? we are in 2015...

also the watermark as if? transparency is gif are terrible, in png are very good, why use gif format???

Not only, the upload logo page is broken, upload the logo for the desktop version, but for mobile version there is a smaller logo (who is a png, lol) and this smaller logo is untouched, and you cannot upload it from admin logo page...

For now, you can use FTP to upload logo. Edit themes/default/header.tpl replace logo.jpg with logo.png
