MySQL server has gone away

I am getting this info after uploading a 40mb file.

ERROR: Unable to execute query

SELECT * FROM `config` WHERE `config_name`='enable_flvtool'
MySQL server has gone away

I'm having same issue I just installed it.
not sure exactly what's the cause of this error.

This is MySQL server problem.MySQL server down or busy.
Since you get this error all the time, you must consider moving to a better server.

Well it seems that the server can't handle files bigger than 40 mb. When I uploaded 30 mb file, everything worked fine. So, I changed the max file size to 40 mb. The max file size 100 mb was just to high for this server. :(
