Placing Ad codes

Where do I place the ad codes so they show on the site? I thought I could do it through the admin section, but it doesn't work. Thanks.

Ok I figured t out, you do have to use the advertisment section on the admin page, but to edit/add the ad codes, the ad blocks have to be 'inactive' first, then you add/edit the codes, and then activate the ad block to get the ads to show :)

How do I add more ad zones to my pages? I have the top, bottom and the side ads, but woul dlike to add a second side ad, and maybe a left hand text add area.
