500 internal server error

- upload files using binary
- chmod 777 to those folders mentioned
- register globals OFF and dont wish to turn it on. will it affect? but i doubt it would.
- others in php.ini changed as requested except register_globals

Server Info:
Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/4.3.10

but it still gives me internal server error..

i manually dumped the SQL database but to no avail also.

What is the site url ? What is in apache error log ?

You need to check the apache log to see more details about the error, it seems some problem with your php settings or installation.
