hi,

i just tried to install the script...installrutine didnt work for me so i created mysql database by myself and set up the configfile....Now i get this messege:

ERROR: Unable to execute query

SELECT * FROM poll_question WHERE start_date<='2007-10-23' AND end_date>='2007-10-23' ORDER BY rand() limit 1

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

I hope someone have an idea what course the problem...

MySQL server is down or the script is not able to connect to MySQL with user name and password provided.

the sql wasnt the problem....it was just the wrong path... :oops:
