Progress Bar Effecting Convert

My site was converting the files that were uploaded. Then I made the changes to show the progress bar. The progress bar is showing and works fine, the problem is that the videos aren't converting anymore. Is there an answer for this?

Actually that post didn't answer the question. When I make the upload progress bar inactive, I don't have a problem uploading and converting. But if I do make it active and make all the appropriate changes the bar moves and does what it is suppose to it doesn't convert the video. And because I can convert videos without the progress bar active I know it can't be the mencoder.

Yep just went through that entire post, just incase I missed something that had to do with the upload progress bar effecting the converting and I didn't come across anything related.
