File Size too small : Bytes, Upload a big video.

The file is only a 16meg mp4 and works fine.

The problem is mencoder is not able to convert the video to FLV format.

/usr/bin/mencoder /home/xxxxxxx/video/popeyenaturalthingtodo.mp4 -o /home/xxxxxx/flvideo/1192470423497519261.flv -of lavf -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=56 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv:vbitrate=500:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:last_pred=3 -srate 22050 -lavfopts i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames

Ask your server admin or web host to run this command and see if video is getting converted to FLV.

If mencoder is not able to convert video to FLV, it is problem with mencoder installation.

With the new ffmpeg and mencoder module, the command will run as follows :

/usr/bin/mencoder /home/nylive/public_html/movietv/share/video/popeyenaturalthingtodo.mp4 -o /home/nylive/public_html/movietv/share/flvideo/1192484602967173392.flv -of lavf -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=56 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv:vbitrate=500:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:l ast_pred=3 -srate 22050 -ofps 12

Please note I replaced the ending part of the command

-lavfopts i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_fram es

with

-ofps 12

probably best to replace with

-ofps 24 -vf harddup

This is because mencoder on your server upgraded to latest version, on latest mencoder, they changed command line options.

For new version of mencoder, you need to use convert command
