Thread: RSS FEED in IE7 - HELP!

  1. #1

    Default RSS FEED in IE7 - HELP!

    I can't seem to see the feed when I click the RSS icon in IE7 or Firefox. It states " FEEDs with DTD's are not supported " in IE and shows absolutely nothing in Firefox how do I adjust this?

    Thanks!

    I'm running 2.6 and getting this error as well, even after making the suggested changes to rss.php. Any idea how to fix this for IE7?

    I figured it out. Edit rss.php and change the lines that look like this to the below:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <rss version="2.0" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom">

    OMG TY!!!!! Get out of my head! LOL

    I was having the same exact problem with phpnuke and just yesterday was looking for an answer to the problem in phpnuke in all the phpnuke forums sites, but nothing...either it was never posted about and when I inquired, nobody ever answered me.

    I translated this code to work in phpnuke and it works beautifully. If anybody has phpnuke and needs the fix, please email me and I'll be happy to share.

    Never thought to check vShare for this problem also (just did and it DOES exist)...I'll also be making the necessary changes to vShare as well and alerting all the subscribers to my newsletter (*cough*---I know...shameless plug).

    THANKS AGAIN!!!!
    If it's not fun, stop doing it!
