My site has been hacked!! I need to recover my index.php

Hi, my site has been hacked, and my index.php was deleted, could you please help me?

How can i recover my index.php?

I have tried copying another index.php but i get an error.

You need to check your web server log to know how the hacker got in.

Wow, bummer! Sorry to hear about that! Who is your webhost?

The hacker did something somewhere in the files...preventing anything from working...you'll probably have to start all over again if you haven't make any back-ups recently. Most webhosts have a "back up your site" feature.
