I was kind of hoping someone had worked it out, but I guess I'll try to take a stab at it myself. I've really been dreading that though, because I remember the nightmare I went through before trying to figure out how to get preroll ads to work, only to come up empty. Of course, that was a couple of upgrades ago, so maybe I'll get lucky this time around.

Hey guys! We attempted this with Adbrite but was unsuccessful. We have had success with adotube & scanscout. We are working on a solution which will allow you to have your own ads much like adbrite or scanscout. However, you actually make 100% of the revenue as you will be selling your own ads.
