I need a high quality video codec like youtube.

Hi I was wondering if anyone know where I can get a high quality video codec, that i can install in my videos so they will show like youtube high quality. I would like to have a video codec like youtube because their videos show crystal clear. I notice this script video codec is not the crystal clear quality Can anyone help.

I think youtube use on2 video codec, that is costly.

You can also use h264 codec, that work with ffmpeg. But again it is not completely free to use.
