Thumbnails

Does anyone know how to create thumbnails from FLV video? I recently transfered my site and I am finding that when performing a search some of the third thumbnails are not showing. Looking inside thumbnails folder they do not seem to have been created. What is strange is they neither existed with my old host but still showed in the search results for some reason.

I have deleted the original videos from the video folder so I cannot create them this way.

I suppose you don't have the original files in your video dir (otherwise will be simple) so you can do 2 things:

1) create yourself the thumbnails and upload the to Vshare Thumb dir.

2) Copy the flv file to Vshare "Video" dir and assign it to the corresponding video in sql database. Then go to to admin console of vshare and upon video click "create thumbnails".

Remember, BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANY CHANGE! ;)

I deleted the original files to save disk space. :(

I'm still puzzled as to why the thumbnails showed before I moved to a different host, even though they obviously failed during the conversion because I checked the ID tags and they weren't in the thumbnails folder!

Well, if that's the only way I can create them again then it looks like I'm going to be BUSY all week doing them!!! :evil:
