Thumbnail quality and size

The default thumbnail size is 120*90. Possible to change it to 180*135. I do not want to just stretch the original thumb that is created. I would want mencoder to produce thumbnails at 180*135 by default.

Yes, it is possible. To do so, open up your database using phpMyAdmin (or similar program), go to the "sconfig" table, and change the "img_max_width" and "img_max_height" attributes to match what you want by default.

How about the quality of the thumbnails? Cos I usually find the quality of the thumbnails rather poor. I am refering to the picture quality of the thumbnail.

I saw at your website the image scales 720px × 480px (scaled to 130px × 98px).
I had the same problem before. I downloaded all my thumbs and changed their quality with "xat.com Image Optimizer" and changed the setting at "include/classes/class.video_thumb.php". :D
