CHMOD doesn't exist in Windows. vShare is designed for Linux servers. You will be on your own if you attempt to run vShare on a Windows server.

go to the folder you want tch mod right click it properties then set it make sure you have administrative permissions :roll:
go to start menu....then to run....... type in cmd.exe...should have something like this ...C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.UBUNTU> type this in >>> ATTRIB +R (then root to file eg:) C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/forum/config.php
just change the +R after ATTRIB as what you want below to displays or change file attributes.
ATTRIB [+R | -R] [+A | -A ] [+S | -S] [+H | -H] [drive:][path][filename]
[/S [/D]]
+ Sets an attribute.
- Clears an attribute.
R Read-only file attribute.
A Archive file attribute.
S System file attribute.
H Hidden file attribute.
[drive:][path][filename]
Specifies a file or files for attrib to process.
/S Processes matching files in the current folder
and all subfolders.
/D Processes folders as well.
im using this on windows server 2003 hope this helps guys :D
ATTRIB in Windows doesn't do the same thing that CHMOD does.
